Karen Loiterstein is the Senior Vice President for Marketing at Enterprise Bank & Trust. In her role, she is responsible for corporate communications, marketing operations, demand generation, market intelligence and sales enablement.
Together with her team, Karen has led the charge of creating a data-driven marketing function at Enterprise. This is resulting in better lead generation, differentiated sales messaging, and a revamped marketing strategy that realized a 20% increase in earned media, a 110% increase in inbound marketing and a 200% increase in pipeline acceleration. At the core of this work is a rebuilt website, with enhanced UX, simplified site maintenance, and performance metrics to measure results.
Karen joined Enterprise in 2016 after creating the first-ever Sales Enablement function at Express Scripts Inc. For more than 20 years, Karen has pioneered first-of-its kind marketing initiatives through leadership roles in nationally recognized companies including FleishmanHillard, MCI WorldCom and Willis Towers Watson. As a regular speaker at marketing conferences on issues including data-driven marketing and sales & marketing alignment, she is passionate about helping leaders modernize their marketing functions.
In 2019, Karen was recognized with the Program of the Year Award by SiriusDecisions for outstanding achievement in rebuilding the digital ecosystem at Enterprise. She serves on the executive committee of Boys Hope Girls Hope, the St. Louis Forum, and she is a former International President of the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization. Karen received her MBA from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and her undergraduate degree with honors in English and Communications Studies from the University of Kansas. Karen resides in St. Louis with her husband, three children, and her dog.
